What began in 2020 as a little girl’s birthday gift became a larger calling. Today, Cyrus’s intuitive comfort drives our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, sharing his unconditional love with pediatric cancer patients across Southern California and beyond.
Cyrus and his handler, Sassan Darian, are a Pet Partners-registered therapy animal team, Complex-rated. Pet Partners is the nonprofit that evaluates and registers volunteer therapy animal teams, and registered teams visit under its policies. Learn more at petpartners.org.
