In San Diego the dependable free sources are the San Diego Public Library and the San Diego County Library branches, Balboa Park’s Spreckels Organ Pavilion and the resident free days at the park’s museums, the county and city parks and nature preserves, Liberty Station events, the coastal towns’ summer concert series, Old Town and Mission Bay community events, and the free-day programs that museums and cultural centers announce a few weeks ahead.

Every San Diego listing is checked against the organizer’s own website first. Cyrusmeowgreat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 33-2415944). Our mission is to improve the psychological wellbeing of children and families, especially children facing illness, through community outreach led by Cyrus the Persian Cat. A free afternoon at a park concert or a library craft table is a small, real support for a family, and cost should never be the barrier.
